Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that provides health education, vouchers for healthy food, and other free services to Colorado families who qualify.
WIC is for:
- Breastfeeding women (up to one year postpartum)
- Children until the age of 5 years
- Infants
- Non-breastfeeding, postpartum women (up to 6 months postpartum)
- Pregnant women

Eligibility
To be financially eligible for WIC, a participant’s combined gross income cannot exceed 185% of the federal poverty standards. For example: A family of four can make up to $3,400 per month and still be eligible. View

Clinics
WIC clinics are held once a week at the Grand County Public Health office in Hot Sulphur Springs at First and Moffat streets.
A Fraser WIC clinic is held at Wapiti Meadows on the first Wednesday of the month.
A Kremmling WIC clinic is held at the Colorado State University (CSU) Extension Hall on or around the fourth Monday of the month.
