SUMMONS ISSUED TO WEST GRAND SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEE FOR INTERFERENCE WITH SCHOOL OPERATIONS

GRAND COUNTY, CO- On March 2, 2026 at approximately 1 p.m. a Grand County Sheriff’s Office Deputy responded to the West Grand High School in Kremmling in regards to a Disorderly Conduct incident involving a West Grand School staff member. The Deputy conducted an investigation and as a result, Richard “Richie” Propster, a thirty-six-year-old male, from Kremmling was issued a Criminal Summons for a violation of Colorado Revised Statute 18-9-109 (2) Interference with Staff, Faculty or Students of Educational Institutions (Class Two Misdemeanor). 

These charges are only accusations based on probable cause, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

With the filing of this case, any additional inquiries should be directed to the 14th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
