[ARCHIVED] George Sworn in as Grand County Commissioner

Today Randal “Randy” F. George of Kremmling was sworn in as Grand County Commissioner - District 3.

George was appointed by the Grand County Republic Party’s vacancy committee to fulfill the remainder of Kristen Manguso’s term, which ends December 31, 2022. Manguso resigned as Commissioner in order to accept an offer to fill the county’s open Community Development Director position.

“I made the decision to run for county commissioner earlier this year,” George said. “I would like to thank the Republican Party for this unique opportunity to immerse myself in the position ahead of the November election.”

George was the only Republican candidate for Grand County Commissioner – District 3 on the 2022 Primary Election ballot, and will move forward as the Republican Party candidate for the General Election on November 8, 2022.
