ONE FOUND DECEASED IN KREMMLING STRUCTURE FIRE
GRAND COUNTY, CO- On September 18, 2023, at approximately 9:32 p.m., the Grand County Communications Center received a 911 call of a structure fire at the River Ranch Trailer Park, located at 1109 Tyler Ave, Kremmling, in unincorporated Grand County.
The Kremmling Fire Protection District, Kremmling Police Department, Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado State Patrol, Hot Sulphur Springs/ Parshall Fire Protection District, Grand Fire Protection District No. 1, and Grand County Emergency Medical Services responded and found a fully engulfed structure fire at unit B-2. Law Enforcement officers that initially responded were able to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby shed and residence. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
Firefighters located an adult male inside the residence, who was later pronounced deceased by the Grand County Coroner’s Office. The decedent’s identity and cause and manner of death will be released by the Coroner when appropriate.
An investigation is ongoing by the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Grand County Coroner’s Office and Kremmling Fire Protection District with the assistance of an Investigator from the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control and a Crime Scene Agent from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
