TWO FOUND DECEASED IN GRAND LAKE
GRAND COUNTY, CO- On January 25, 2022, at approximately 7:40 p.m. the Grand County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence within the town of Grand Lake as a welfare check. A concerned individual had called Dispatch that evening and reported they had not been able to get in contact with their friend for three days. Deputies with assistance from the Grand Lake Fire Protection District responded to the residence and located two deceased adult males. The initial investigation shows no signs of foul play and there is no community threat.
The investigation is ongoing. The Coroner’s Office is working to make next of kin notifications. Cause and manner of death will be released by the Coroner when appropriate.
