Fly into the Granby/Grand County Airport (GNB) then lodge and dine in the midst of gorgeous scenery and play a different spectacular golf course every day.
Located in open terrain atop the Granby Mesa, the airport is an easy-in, easy-out mountain airfield as can be seen from this view from the southeast. There is a Flight Planning Facility with a courtesy car and a restroom.
Grand County Government advises pilots flying into Granby Airport (GNB) to call flight service at 1-800-992-7433, option #1 to check NOTAM information to determine if the airport is open and the runway has been plowed.
Please be cautious of mountainous terrain surrounding the airport!

Noise Sensitive Area
Due to rising terrain to the East and the highly noise-sensitive area, bearing 075 degrees from, and located only 0.5 nm East of the airport, good mountain pilots rarely, if ever, take off to the East. Study the traffic pattern chart and the noise-sensitive notice shown below.
Visit Emily Warner Field Aviation Museum
The Emily Warner Field Aviation Museum opened in July 2015. Located in a room of the former Rocky Mountain Airways airline terminal of Granby/Grand County Airport, the museum’s displays, photographs and artifacts tell the fascinating story of flying in Grand County. More information
Courtesy Car
OUT OF CONCERN FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR VISITORS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE ASK THAT ANYONE USING THE COURTESY CAR WIPE DOWN ALL TOUCH SURFACES AFTER EACH USE. SANITARY WIPES CAN BE FOUND INSIDE THE TERMINAL BUILDING NEXT TO THE RESTROOMS.
The courtesy car availability at GNB is due to an economic development grant from the Friends of the Granby Airport, Inc., and a cooperative effort by members of EAA Chapter 1267. The Pilot Community thanks to the Town of Granby for the donation of the courtesy car for use by visiting pilots.
The GNB courtesy car is stationed at the Flight Planning Facility. The keypad access code for entry into the facility is the first three digits of the CTAF. Further instructions for obtaining access to the keys to the courtesy car are posted inside the Facility. It is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Pilots are requested to replace whatever gasoline is used in the car.
Long Term Parking
If leaving your aircraft or vehicle for an extended period, please click and fill in the Long Term Parking Form which can be emailed to Josh Schroeder at jschroeder@co.grand.co.us or left at the airport building mailbox.
EAA Chapter 1267
Chapter 1267 is located at the Granby, Colorado Airport. Their members are from Grand County and adjacent counties plus a number of "alumni" who once lived in the Grand County area. Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend their events and/or join the chapter.
They are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like-minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. If you’re flying into Grand County, check out their next meeting or event.
