In order to collect and remit State Sales Tax, County Sales and Lodging Tax, and Town Sales Tax (except the Town of Winter Park's Town tax), you must hold a Colorado Sales Tax License. Application for a State license must be made to the Colorado Department of Revenue (forms and instructions are available here).

The remittance of the State, County and Town taxes (except the Town of Winter Park's Town taxes) are made to the Colorado Department of Revenue. Winter Park local taxes are remitted to the Town of Winter Park, while State and County taxes on Town of Winter Park rentals are reported to the Colorado Department of Revenue.
