PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE - Colorado River Headwaters Connectivity Project

PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE
You are invited to attend a public scoping open house where information will be provided and comments collected for the proposed Colorado River Headwaters Connectivity Project (Project).

When: August 15 - Wednesday
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Where: Grand Fire Protection District Office

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), with the project sponsors (Trout Unlimited, Grand County, and Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District), is
considering improvements within the Windy Gap Watershed at three sites near Granby in Grand County, Colorado. Modifications are proposed at the Fraser River Flow Measuring Weir and Granby
Diversion to improve fish passage. Modifications are also proposed at Windy Gap Dam and Reservoir to allow fish passage and more natural stream flow conditions.
